Welcome! I am Cheryl Hucks, a High Point, North Carolina interior designer, who for over 30 years has been known for creating interiors that strike a balance between elegant and inviting. I believe your home should be unique to you and reflect your taste, lifestyle, and design needs. A beautifully designed room has no value if it does not function and is not comfortable. Designing for a family with young children or teens has different design needs than a single person or a retired couple. Your home environment should match your lifestyle goals. Interior design and creating an elegant lifestyle are in my genes. Growing up, I watched my mother decorate our home beautifully with gorgeous window treatments, pillows, comforters, and other décor elements she made herself. Her love of quality crafted furniture, antiques, and her passion for pewter developed my appreciation for a collected home filled with unique pieces acquired over time. Casual or elegant entertaining for family and friends was an integral part of our lifestyle. My timeless design aesthetic was also influenced through my travel abroad and exposure to different cuisines, cultures, architecture, and lifestyles. My personal design style is Casual Elegance: sophisticated, chic, and comfortable. Casual Elegance is not only a design style, but also a way of living. My design tastes range from classic to modern to create a relaxed home for my family, pets, and friends.

Our Full-Service Design handles everything to make your design project more than expected. Before our initial meeting we ask you to 1-Complete our Design Questionnaire and email to us 48 hours before our initial meeting 2- Create your Wish-List and Must Haves 3-Your Entire Project Investment including furnishings, construction, general and sub-contractors, designer fees for your Design Project. During our first visit to your home will ask more detailed questions, take photos, and measurements, create a timeline and collect a deposit to start the Design Process.
